State Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development PDF Print E-mail

WCDA has been designated by the governor as the agency responsible for the coordination of the State of Wyoming Consolidated Plan. The Plan satisfies the minimum statutory requirements for four U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) formula grant programs: Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).

The Consolidated Plan includes a needs assessment, a housing market analysis, a five-year strategic plan and a one-year action plan. During the development stages of the Strategic Plan and Annual Action Plan, citizen participation is encouraged through public hearings and a written comment period. Copies of the Consolidated Plan may be obtained by contacting WCDA.

Affirmative marketing is an integral part of all WCDA funding programs. Affirmative Marketing includes informing the public, owners, potential tenants and others about federal fair housing laws, programs and using the Equal Housing Opportunity
