Buying a home can feel overwhelming. Where do you start? Who do you talk to? Is there a process? Use this simple checklist to help guide you through the WCDA loan process and begin to make your dream of homeownership a reality.

  • Get Educated. Visit Wyoming Housing Network and follow the instructions. Your education completion certificates for both the online and one-on-one education will be valid for 18 months.
  • Make an appointment with a participating lender to get pre-qualified. View a list of our participating lenders.
  • Choose a real estate agent and let them know you are pre-qualified for WCDA financing.
  • Find your home!
  • Schedule a follow-up visit with your lender who will walk you through the rest of the loan process.
