WCDA Announces New Board Member


CASPER, WY- Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA) announces newly appointed Board member, Tony Ross.

Ross was appointed to serve on the WCDA Board beginning March 1, 2018. Ross has a long history with Wyoming, serving in the state legislature for 22 years.

Ross was a member of the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1995-2004 and then the Wyoming Senate from 2005-2016. During his time in the legislature, Ross served on numerous committees and subcommittees. Ross served as the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Vice President of the Senate, Senate Majority Floor Leader, President of the Senate, and Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Ross graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1978. In 1979, Ross joined his father in the practice of law, forming the firm Ross & Ross, P. C. In 1997, Ross and his father formed the law firm Ross, Ross & Santini, LLC.

Ross is a member of the Laramie County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Wyoming State Bar, and American Association for Justice. Currently, Ross serves on the Board of Directors for the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association.

Ross replaces outgoing WCDA Board member, Kristin Lee.

The WCDA Board of Directors consists of Chairman Judy Lane of Cheyenne, Vice Chairman Rob Boner of Douglas, Treasurer/Secretary Susan Anderson of Casper, Governor Matt Mead, State Treasurer Mark Gordon, State Treasurer Representative Erica Legerski, Governor Representative Colin McKee, Pat Hand of Cheyenne, Kari Cooper of Jackson, and Tony Ross of Cheyenne. WCDA Executive Director, Scott Hoversland, serves as an ex-officio member.

WCDA Announces Reappointed Board Member


CASPER, WY- Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA) announces reappointed Board member, George Parks.

Parks was appointed by Governor Matt Mead to serve another 4-year term on the WCDA Board of Directors. He has served on the WCDA Board since 2014.

Prior to his role on the Board, Parks served as the Executive Director for the Wyoming Association of Municipalities (WAM) from 1998-2014. Parks was the Mayor of Casper in 1993. Having been involved with municipal government for more than twenty years, he has broad experience in advocating for strengthening the effectiveness of city and town governments in Wyoming.
